London
I know that this isn't really the right place for this post, but for all on the board living in London - and now Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool. I hope that you are all safe and well.

RE: London
It's like those movies where a strange contagion hits everyone. I've no idea what goes on in their ridiculous minds, all i know is that not many of them can have families! Why would you want to scare people in this way and threaten their lives? There is simply no though behind their behaviour and it makes me worried for society. Kids these days aren't put in their place, they're not made accountable for their actions and they're spoiled; this had been happening for many years now, and personally I think this is just the beginning of what we're going to reap.

We need to breed a nicer generation of people otherwise the world will be like this all over the place soon enough!

I agree that we need to be responsible, but I don't think we're really giving the youth a fair go to be honest; they're certainly not all animals, they're are some who look as though they could shape a nation. Smile

RE: London
And as ever, it took Cameron and Johnson a good few days to get their bums back from their Holidays. They know what their jobs entail and when the capital and then country is being ransacked, they try continue to sun themselves.

What was Clegg doing - hiding in a cupboard? Also Ed Milliband had a golden opportunity here to shine, he could have said something and shown he was a better leader - the lot of them are a bunch of numpties in a crisis.

Maybe now they will also re-think cuts to the police force, and other public services that have been placed under pressure.

Yet amongst all this I was slightly amused by one news report, a chap was out on the street and walked into a ransacked boots chemist. He picked up an empty box of Immodium. Then went onto say the looters have taken the lot. This isn't a joke it was on Sky News the other morning.

why isn it that people jump on the officiuals in situations like this? WHat differnecve does it make wheteher these peopel were in London or not when this was happening? It isnt't as if Boris Johnson could actrually do anythign about it, he's not super Boris is he?

They are paid a stupid wage to lead from the front, and in times of crisis this is what you need. Rather than hiding away.

I dont particulary like either of them, and I think they know (esp the Gvt) that they arent a popular choice in this country. So when something like this kicks off, they need to show that they are standing up for the people of the country that they govern. When so far all they have done is taken services and benefits away.

When they finally show their faces, things start to calm down, so the country went through three/four days of unnecessary carnage. if they had been more decisive from the start, then maybe the few people that were killed would be alive, and people that lost their businesses/homes wouldn't have.

The only good thing I have seen, is that there are extra police on the streets, even in the area's that weren't hit.

Those animalas on the street havent been affeceted at all by those officiuals. IT takes a lot more than showing youer face to silence those cowardly scumbags, i disagree. They are ineffective
