Aleister Crowley’s Cursed Loch Ness Home to Reopen as a Sex Magick Retreat
Back in April, the former home of occultist Aleister Crowley went up for sale. Boleskine House, a reportedly cursed Loch Ness estate where Crowley famously conducted Satanist rituals and black magick ceremonies between 1899 and 1913, has been the subject of lore and legend for decades partly due to the reputation of its infamous former owner and partly due to strange events reported at the site.

Renovation Plans Underway for Boleskine House

INVERNESS, Scotland – The UK’s occult community has been intrigued recently by the revelation of plans to renovate Aleister Crowley’s former home at Boleskine, on the shores of Loch Ness. The house – also formerly owned by Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page – was badly damaged by fire in 2015.

The house and the district in which it lies have a long and interesting history: Minister Thomas Houston is said to have had the depressing task, in the 16-1700s, of replacing reanimated corpses back in their graves after an aspiring local necromancer raised them.

Boleskine itself was built in the 1760s as a hunting lodge, by a Colonel Archibald Fraser, and is said to have been placed on the site of the kirk, which burned down killing everyone inside. A tunnel linked the house to the graveyard and the house is also supposed to be spiritually connected to Errogie, the alleged geographical centre of the Highlands.

Why parts of London smell of semen at this time of year

Those taking a stroll through London’s leafier areas might have caught a whiff of a fairly unique odour in recent weeks.

You might have enjoyed it or it might have turned your stomach (there's no judgement here) but the consensus is that it smells exactly the same as semen.

Thankfully it isn't being caused by a gross teenage boy hiding in a bush but all down to a particular type of tree.

The culprit is the sweet chestnut tree.

This tree, which has the scientific name Castanea Sativa, is found across South East England and is more famous for its fruit, chestnuts, than its smell.

The chestnuts are wrapped in a spiky, green casing and are a traditional part of Christmas dinners.

Their leaves are spear shaped with a distinct saw-tooth edge. The thing to really look out for, especially at this time of year, is the long catkins hanging from the branches.

These are the source of the rather familiar smell and appear in June and July.

Ruined home of real-life Wicker Man and notorious Satanist Aleister Crowley is torched by arsonists just three months after it was put up for sale for £500,000

The home of a real-life 'Wicker Man' and former Satanist has been torched by arsonists near the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland just a week after a buyer was found.

Boleskine House in the Scottish Highlands was once the home of Aleister Crowley, who reportedly practised black magic there between 1899 and 1933.

The property was also owned by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page from 1970 to 1992. The derelict house was put on the market in April this year for £510,000.

Police were called in after fires were spotted around 3.30pm yesterday at two buildings at the deserted site, including the derelict main house and at an external outbuilding.

The estate's main house has had its interior destroyed by the fire and police believe the fires were deliberately started by arsonists.

Firefighters extinguished the blazes, and nobody was injured, although damage was caused to the buildings.
